Press Tours

In August and September Organic Denmark had the pleasure of hosting two press tours for foreign journalists. The purpose was to promote new angles on organics on our export markets.

Press tour in Jutland

On the first press tour there were journalists from Germany, Sweden and Norway. The journalists were introduced to some of the leading organic producers among others: Danæg (egg), Thise (dairy), Friland (meat), Urtekram (groceries), Is fra Skarø (ice cream), Woodshade (chocolate) and Naturmælk (dairy).

And the restaurants:  Pondus, L'estragon and Langhoff & Juul

And the supermarkets: Kvickly, SuperBrugsen  and Rema 1000

Last but not least, they were introduced to the project "Økoløft", which is a public initiative for increasing the organic consumption in public institutions.

Press tour in Copenhagen and around Zealand

On the second press tour there were journalists from Germany, England, Sweden, Norway and the Netherlands. The journalists visited leading organic producers in Copenhagen and around Zealand. Among others: Oialla (chocolate), Il Fornaio (bread and Italian delicatessen), Aalbæk (cold cuts), Naturfrisk/Ørbæk (beverage),  Aarstiderne (fruit, vegetables and meal boxes) and Knuthenlund (meat, dairy and cold cuts).

And the restaurants:  Taarnet, Gourmandiet, Relæ, DØP (Organic hotdog stand) and Che Fé

Last but not least, they were introduced to the Copenhagen House of Food, which is a public institution for increasing the organic consumption in public institutions.
